Kate’s Table was proud to be a part of 3rd Annual Ales Over ALS event in Essex, Massachusetts this weekend!
This amazing event features a local brewers contest “Crafter’s Delight” – guests are able to taste the best brews from local & small brewers side by side and sample the food from Woodman’s of Essex, Apple Street Farms (with former L’Espalier Chef; Frank McLelland) and Kate’s Table!
We provided the vegetarian dishes this year which included our famous Truffled Mac & Cheese, Roasted Farm Vegetables, Harvest Farro Salad with cranberries, kale, delicata squash and goat cheese. We also provided the desserts – Kelly’s Famous Chocolate Chunk Cookies & Warm Apple Cider Donuts tossed in cinnamon & sugar.
The event was held at The Essex Shipbuilding Museum again – what a spot for a gathering! We are totally infatuated with this place! It takes the vintage/barn look that is still so popular to another level. Forget about renting eight tables – just grab some saw horses from the property and top them with any found & weathered boards lying about.
